For admission in MTech you need to write GATE.

Since last date for GATE exam submission was 2nd november so it mean that u missed it for this time .but do not worry you can give exam next time again .

The Important Dates for GATE 2011 was as follows.

Last Date for submitting Application Form: Online (October 27, 2010) Offline (November 02, 2010)

Gate 2011 Exam Date: February 13, 2011

GATE 2011 Result Announcement: March 15, 2011

If you interested in take admission in M.Tech program then i advise you to appear in GATE but last date for GATE exam in this year was over. It was 2nd November 2010 and exam date was 13 February.
So you can apply for next year GATE exam. I wish you will get success in the GATE exam.
