Master of computer application is a postgraduate degree in computer application. The basic eligibility criteria required is that the candidates should have a bachelor degree in any discipline. Also the candidates should have studied mathematics as one of the subjects in graduate level or higher secondary level of their education. The minimum time required to complete the course is three years. Kerala University offers MCA courses on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the university. Applicants who clear the test with good marks will be eligible to study the course under Kerala University.

Instructions to be followed while filling Kerala MCA entrance test forms

Candidates should be very careful while filling the form. All the details must be filled in properly and neatly. Application forms can be submitted either by online method or by offline method. All the entries should be made in capital letters. Candidates should affix a recent passport size photograph in the specified area.

In online method of submission candidates can remit the application fees in any of the branches of State Bank of Travancore (SBT). The application forms can be downloaded from the official website of the university. The candidate should take the print out of the application form and affix the photograph in the space provided.

In offline method of application, the form can be collected from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE). Application forms can also be obtained via post by sending a request together with a demand draft of required amount to the concerned office. Completely filled application forms must be sent on or before the due date.

Fee structure of Kerala MCA entrance test

Application fee is around Rs.500/- for the Kerala MCA entrance test. In case of online submission the candidates should take the print out of the challan form. The fee should be remitted in any of the State Bank of Travancore branch. The original challan form with the seal from the bank should be sent along with the printed application orm. In case of candidates outside Kerala, the fee can be submitted through Demand Draft taken from any nationalized bank in favor of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. There will be relaxation in the fee for the candidates who belong to the backward communities (SC/ST candidates)

Last date for receipt of Kerala MCA entrance test applications

Application forms can be submitted till the last week of May. Proper date can be obtained from the official website of Kerala University when the notification is published.

Acknowledgement of Kerala MCA entrance test Forms

On proper submission of application forms, candidates will receive an acknowledgment. The acknowledgement can be received either through email or post. If the candidates are not receiving the acknowledgement within 30 days of submission there will be some issue with the form. In this case the candidates should contact the head office.
