Dear friend,

Those candidate who have passed Common Proficiency Test and Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) conducted by an examination body constituted by law in India
or
an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto and passed CPT may join the Professional Competence Course.

These exams are conducted twice every year generally on the first Sunday of the months of June and December.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts a student can make at the CA CPT examination.

CA CPT Syllabus 2012:-

No. of papers:- One

Duration:- Four years

Marks:- 200

Two Sections - Two hours - 100 Marks

Section A:- Fundamentals of Accounting ( 60 Marks )
Section B: Mercantile Law ( 40 Marks )
Section C: General Economics ( 50 Marks )
Section D: Quantitative Aptitude ( 50 Marks )

EXAM DATE:-

June Examination:-

June 6th, 2010; June 5th, 2011; June 3rd, 2012.

December Examination:-

December 5th, 2010; December 4th, 2011; December 2nd, 2012

The application form and the information brochure will be available from the first week of October 2012. The last date for submission of application will be last week of October 2012. The exam will be usually held in the second week of December 2012. To join the course, the candidate should have passed the 10th examination which is recognized by Law in India or by the Central Government. The candidate should pay the tuition and registration fee of Rs. 1500/- along with the filled application.

r/sir 26oct is last date of filling online exam form. i m missing that but sir why there is no provision for late fee for filling cpt dec 2012.plz sir reply me or requested to extend the date with late fee.
