CPT is a entrance exam for CA. this exam is held twice in a year.
-After six month CPT exam is held.
-For june 2012 application form was came out in April 4,2012 and last date for submit the form was April 25, 2012.
-For June 2012 attempt student which are appearing or pass 12th class and have to applied CPT Registration with ICAI on or before April 4,2012 are eligible to apply for CPT exam.
-sorry to say then you are not applicable to for June attempt.you should apply for December month
-June exam which is held on sunday June 17, 2012.

the candidate who passed their 12th with commerce stream are eligible for CPT exam.

1.Application form selling:- 4 april 2012
2.last date of submission of application form:- 25 april 2012
3.Date of CPT exam :- 17 june 2012

dear,

cpt is conducted twice every year

--in the month of june

--in the month of december

first you have to registered yourself by filling registration form of cpt and you get this form from chapter office of your located area and submitted within 3rd month of each individual attempts

and then you get registration number which have to use infilling examination form


if you get the registration number then you can apply for cpt online

and if you do not get then you have to apply via hard copy

then you will get your admit card it will be posted to you by ICAI

and you must carry it with you in examination center

and read instruction care fully before attempting your question paper

you will get your result with in one month after your exam
it will be posted to you by ICAI

and you get only when you pass the exam

or you can check your details online also

CPT June 2013 application forms duly filled in may be sent so as to reach the Additional Secretary ( Examinations ) at New Delhi not later than 24th April, 2013. Applications received after 24th April, 2013 shall not be entertained under any circumstances.

CA CPT Exam June applications duly filled in will be received by hand delivery at the offices of Institute at New Delhi and at the Decentralised Offices of the Institute at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Pune upto 24th April, 2013. Candidates residing in these cities are advised to take advantage of this facility. It may be noted that there is no provision for acceptance of application forms after 24th April, 2013 with late fee.

The candidates who fill up the examination application form online at http://icaiexam.icai.org from 3rd April, 2013 ( 10.00 hrs ) to 24th April, 2013 ( 17.30 hrs ) and remit the fee online by using either VISA or MASTER Credit / Debit Card shall not be charged 500/- ( i.e. cost of application form fee ) in order to popularize filling-in of CPT June Exam application form online.

Common Proficiency Test ( CPT ) is open only to those students who are already registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the said course on or before 2nd April, 2013 and fulfill the requisite eligibility conditions.
