i have given 12 class board exam in 2012 and i got 73% which is not enough to appear in iitjee in 2013 so i want to appear in 12 class board improvement exam again in 2013 for physics chemistry maths.

Yes, you are correct , you will not be eligible for IIT JEE , as per the new pattern and eligibility criteria. But i would like to inform you that there are still minor chances that eligibility criteria of top 20% might change and it can be increased upto 25-30%. Then you can appear. So, please be updated about the changes in few coming days. But i will be final by next month, so that you don't remain in dilemma .

In case you want to appear for improvement exams , then you can appear in those subjects in which you passed in 12th 2012.

As usual procedure, forms will be available in August , you can download from CBSE website also. And for examination, it will be conducted in 2013 the same time as regular exams.

As per CBSE rules Chapter VII (Examination) and Section VI( vii) Rules for improvement of Division, it is stated that if a student happens to attained performance which is lower than that which he had attained at the earlier Examination of the board, his previous result (or marks) may be allowed to stand.

Is it necessary to give improvement exam of practicals along with theory papers to be eligible for iit jee in isc board
