rankings of the different engineering colleges is depends on the infrastructure of the college and the percentage of the placements through the college. here are some top engineering colleges in india. all the iit's have best reputation for the technical institute among all other colleges in India. so in the top of the ranking iit's will be there obviously. like 1) iit , bombay 2) iit kharagpur 3) iit kanpur 4) iit-bhu , varanasi 5) iit , chennai ,etc also there are nit's which are among the best technical institutes. and there are different colleges like delhi college of engineering have good reputation and it is in the top 10 engineering colleges in the india. there are certain universities like anna university , chennai and birla institutes are also ranked in the top 20 engineering institutes. thanks and best luck
