how much marks needed to pass in maths exam out of 80....plesae tell me how much

Generally it is 33% whereas in some organisations it is 30% and more.

You can score in between 24-36 for clearing the maths exam.

but why to think for just passing,go for 80 out of 80.

how much marks needed out of 80 to pass 10th maths exam in theory.

I have 47% pcm & 56.6 overall can i take admission in ptu for b.tech

generally to pass maths or any other subject the marks required are 33% which is as per criteria of most of the universities and boards. But as you have not mentioned about your class/uni or board so its some what difficult for me to tell you. But generally its 33% of maximum marks.
But i think you should set your target as 80 only as its very easy to obtain that much marks in subject like maths.
