Is Mathematics compulsory as main subject in 12th class for writing RRB, SBI PO and SSC CGL exams?
Actually I have opted PCM subject combination and I have 6 subjects in my 12th. I have failed in Mathematics but passed in rest of 5 subjects. If I will clear my Mathematics after appearing for supplementary exams then can I give government job's competitive exams like RRB, SBI PO and SSC CGL?

Re: Is Mathematics compulsory as main subject in 12th class for writing RRB, SBI PO and SSC CGL exams?
It is not compulsory to have Mathematics as main paper in std 12th to become eligible to appear for SBI PO, CGL examination.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university in any discipline. But you must have passed std 12th and than bachelor degree to become eligible to appear for examination. The age limit varies with examination. |

No, it is not mandatory to have Mathematics ( or any other subjects) as a main subject in Class 12th or any degree level course to apply for RRB, SBI PO or SSC CGL examination as for appearing in these examinations, any graduation degree holder in any subject are eligible.
Also, having backlog in Class 12th or at degree level does not make a candidate ineligible for appearing in the same examination and a candidate can apply for these examination once they clear their backlog papers. |
