Is it necessary to do MBA in Finance before entering in the field of banking or to become a bank manager? Or, is there any other specialized courses available related to banking?

MBA is not the requisite qualification to get job in the banking sector.

The required minimum eligibility to appear for the banking recruitment examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline. The age limit varies with examination.

So, it is not compulsory to pursue MBA course to get the recruitment in bank.

No it is not necessary to do MBA before entering in the field of banking or to become a bank manager.

You can become a branch manager having a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or finance. Along with this you will also need 5 years experience.

You can also enter into banking being a fresher without any experience and without having MBA degree. For this you have to pursue bachelor's degree in any stream of your choice from a recognized university. And then you have to appear for the exam of Bank PO (Probationary Officer), also known as Assistant Manager.
