NDA stands for National Defense Academy.

To Join National Defense Academy Candidate need to qualify the entrance examination conduct by UPSC ,Medical Examination and Personal Interview .

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM

1. 10+2 passed OR any other equivalent qualification

Students who have completed their 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects,

they are eligible for Naval Wings of NDA, otherwise you have to apply for Army Wings.

2. Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

3.Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM

1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC.

General Ability Test 02 2 Hours 600

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC. Candidates having completed 16 ½ years can apply for NDA. Maximum age limit is 19 years. Unmarried males who have completed 12th class studies can apply. Mathematics and mental ability will be asked for the exam.

This exam is conduct twice time in a year by UPSC like NDA I and NDA II exam . NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:-Indian Air Force , Indian Navy and Indian Army .

Educational Qualification : -

Final year of 12th standard or passed 12th standard candidate can apply here . 12th with PCM are applicable all wings others are eligible for Indian Army .

Nationality : -

You must have a citizenship of India .

Age Criteria : -

UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts NDA examination twice every year in the months of April and August as NDA-I and NDA-II examination respectively.


NDA examination is conducted for these following wings:-

* Indian Navy.

The eligibility criteria required for the NDA examination are prescribed as below:-

NDA exam is conducted in Three Wings:

1)Indian Army
2)Indian Navy
3)Indian Air Force


If you have completed 12th std from recognized Board then you are eligible for NDA in Army wing OR you have completed 12th science with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths from recognized Board then you are eligible for NDA in All wings....

Final years 12th std students also eligible foe this exam...

There is no percentage required for this examination...

Minimum age is - 16.5 years

and

Maximum age is - 19 years

There is no age relaxation for this examination...

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for the exam..

Girls are not eligible for this exam...

N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:-

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

Age limit:

Only unmarried male & female candidates who were born between July 2, 2004, and July 1, 2007, are eligible to take the NDA exam.

Lower age limit: 15.5 years (by July 1, 2006 at the latest) or 16 years from the start of the course

Upper age limit: 18.5 years (but no sooner than July 02, 2003) or 19 years at the start of the course


class limit:

Class 12th pass with 10+2 pattern of School Education (or equivalent examination) regulated by a State Education Board or a University.
