Re: Minimum cut-off to take admission for M.Tech in IIT Delhi?
Hi !
M.Tech is the Master's in Technology course, and GATE is the exam which is conducted for the admissions in it. Now GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Eligibility : 1. A candidate must be a minimum graduate in B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharmacy to be able to sit for this exam. 2. No age or attempt limits are imposed for this exam. 3. A candidate must have secured at least 60% in the graduation and 10 % is relaxed for the SC/ST/OBC candidates. Now every year the Cut off's change as per the demand of the courses and the IIT or NIT campuses opted by the students. So there is no particular cut off marks that can be set to get admission in the IIT Delhi. However to get in any IIT or NIT, you should be in the top 5000 ranks and your percentile should be more than 95. I am attaching a list of GATE cut off marks for the 2010, and 2011 years. Please download it and refer. Hope it helps Regards #RJ# |
