Re: Minimum marks in AFMC to get selected for interview?
Marks?
There is no such cutoff given about AFMC but if i would guess that a percentage of 65 to 70% in the paper would probably fetch you a seat to get selected for the interview. So if the paper is of 200 marks then 130 marks will be just fine (its just a guess though) AFMC Papers? Well not sure about the past year papers available online or not but yeah here is the free practice mock test for AFMC http://www.rxpgonline.com/article350.html There are some books available in the market that do provide previous year papers like the AFMC Pune Previous Papers, Also the one provided by arihant(not sure about the name) Apart from the normal books i would highly recommend you do subscribe to the magazines called the MTG magazines. The great thing about the magazine is that it contains practice papers of AFMC,AIIMS,AIPMT and other exams. Sometimes they even post the previous year papers of which the questions are collected on the basis of the memory The magazines would cost you 25 to 30 Rs per book . Please note that its a monthly subscription. So if you want to subscribe to it do it from here |

Re: Minimum marks in AFMC to get selected for interview?
if you have more then 60% then you are eligible for AFMC exam
AFMC Interview of Candidate: •On the basis of their performance in the written examination selected candidates in order of roll numbers will be called for an interview to be held in the month of June at AFMC, PUNE. •The exact date of the above interview will be intimidated to the selected candidates. Request for change of date of interview will NOT be entertained. The candidates will be required to produce originals of all certificates/mark sheets at the time of interview. All candidates will produce result or proof of having appeared in the qualifying examination held, at the time of interview (if the result of such examination has not been declared). •On the basis of the above test and interview two merit lists, one for boys and one for girls, will be drawn up and admissions will be offered only to candidates in accordance with their merit position. Individual letters of admission will be sent only to selected candidates who would be required to join AFMC. The remaining candidates will be on waiting list. The result is published by the DGAFMS in the newspapers. best of luck |

Re: Minimum marks in AFMC to get selected for interview?
HI,
1. Actually the minimum marks are decided regarding the no. of applicants and the target of army is to select a certain percentage of the total. but generallly from the last few years it is varying between 130-140 which is according the website of AFMC alumini.. afmcalumni.ning.com/ 2. Regarding the sample papers of it u could either go for [URL="www.exclusivedrops.com/read-afmc-question-papers-free-download"] which would give you pdf files or you could opt the books of the renowned publishers. |

Re: Minimum marks in AFMC to get selected for interview?
There is no specific cut off for the AFMC test. It depends on the performance of all students who take the test. There are 120 seats for the general category and 10 reserved for the SC/ST. So you will have to do real well in the test to get a call for the interview. Browse for AFMC sample papers. You will get some of them on the net.

Quote:
AFMC cut-off don't goes so much high. So don't worry much. Usually AFMC paper use to be very easy thats why merit goes high. But If you score 160 or above then only there are chance that you may get call for interview. So prepare well and try to score above 160 or 170. All the Best... |

Re: Minimum marks in AFMC to get selected for interview?
Sir
Information about the minimum marks in afmc exam for selection is not given by any official statement of afmc. It is only mere guess we obtain from the selected student every year. that is not a reliable information. it varies year after year. it is better not to think about the cutoff and attend almost every questions to get maximum mark. most probably the marks above 75% is good for selection. good luck |
