Can you please tell me the minimum marks in 12th to get admission in nit?

There is no any such criteria because you will get NIT not by 12th marks but by clearing AIEEE.If you acheived good ranking (generally under 10000) you will get good NIT college.
But it will be good for you if you get more than 60% marks in 12th class for placement point of view as most of the companies coming in NIT for campus recruitment allows only those candidates who have more than 60% or 65%
so try to score more and more as high marks are always an advantage for candidate

Hi,

NITs particularly don't set percentage criteria in their way.

A candidate who have cracked the AIEEE entrance test and has valid rank,according to that he/she gets admitted to NIT.
In general, to write exams like AIEEE and IIT-JEE, you should score at least 50% marks in your 10(+2) with physics,chemistry and maths as main subjects.

National Institute of Technology (NIT) is a Government institute of India.
You can not take admission in NIT directly. NIT takes admission
through AIEEE exam. So i advise you to appear in AIEEE exam.
If your rank in AIEEE with in 15000 then i think that you can get
a chance to take admission in NIT college.

u have to qualify aiee exam n u must have atlest 60% in pcm in 12th

None of NIT can give admission directly on the base of 12th marks...you should qualify AIEEE exam for entering in NIT..AIEEE test held every year and you have minimum 50% marks in 12th with PCM to give this exam...if you qualify this exam then you are able to take admission in NIT..

cce 10th marks are imp in future or not?

The minimum percentage criteria to take NIIT /MIT/IIT is 60% .. its is minimum criteria for that institute..

If you want to get admission in any of the NIT's in India, then you have to sit for the entrance exam called the AIEEE


AIEEE - All India Engineering Entrance Examination


This is conducted by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) every year in the month of April to select candidates for the B.Tech/B.E programs in various colleges in India.


The Basic Eligibility Conditions to sit for the AIEEE exam are :-


1. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board from anywhere in India with a minimum 60% aggregate in it.

2. You should be pass in all the subjects.

3. PCM are compulsory to be studied in class 12th.

4. AIEEE grants only 3 consecutive attempts to each student.


Thus if you fulfill these, then you can sit for the AIEEE exam.

Always know that you have to get an ALL INDIA RANK within top 4000 to get a seat in any of the NIT's.

i have scored 51percent in 12 class. Can i fullfil the requirements for sitting in aieee exam

If you are in final year of 12th standard or you have completed 12th standard then you are applicable for admission engineering college.But your 12th standard subject are Physics , chemistry and Mathematics.

For IITs and NITs:

You need to follow the above basic criteria but along with that your % in 12Th must be at least 74% if you want to apply for IITs and NITs.




So,according to the new trend,there is no use of minimum marks,the more marks you will score in the Entrance Test and 12Th,more better will be your rank in the Country and much better will be your College allotment.

Taking the admission In NIIT college is very good option of you.NIT is well reputed and good college in our country.Getting the admission in Nit colleges is quite difficult.But it is not impossible.For taking the admission in NIt college you need to crack the AIEEE entrance exam.The AIEEE entrance exam is conducted every year in the month of April or May by the CBSE.This year this exam is also held.The result of this exam is going to announce very soon.There are almost 16000 seats in all Nit colleges in INDIA.So if you score your rank under 15000 so it is definitely possible to get the admission in NIIT college.For getting this rank you need to score your marks between 40 % to 50% marks in the entrance exam.As the AIEEE exam is of max 360 marks every year. So you need to score 144 to 180 marks.
