If you are interested to pursue M.Tech from IIT, then you are required to qualify GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering) an entrance examination held to pursue M.Tech from IIT/NIT or any other Government college with an excellent score which is mostly above 80-90%. Admission in IIT for M.Tech is purely depends on the GATE scorecard which is valid for years.

There are no such marks criteria for applicants to apply for GATE exam.
