QUESTION PAPER OF MAT EXAM


The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT 2012 is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University .

Final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc.)can also apply.

There is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation which is different for different management institutes and universities.

MAT stands for MANAGEMENT APTITUDE TEST.

The MAT has five sections, each section includes 40 questions and there is total 200 questions (1 mark each), which should be attempted by the candidates within 150 minutes.

MAT consists of subjects like Language Comprehension,
Mathematical Skills,
Data Analysis & Sufficiency,
Intelligence & Critical Reasoning,
Indian & Global Environment.

Model Test Papers of MAT

Management Aptitude Test(MAT) is conducted every year 4 times a year in the months of February, May, September and December by the AIMA(All Indian Management Association)

Candidate can appear for MAT only if :-

>> the candidate has secured a minimum of 50% in graduation (45% for SC/ST)

The candidates shall be tested on the following topics :-

>> Quantitative Skills
>> Critical Reasoning
>> Language Comprehension
>> Data Sufficiency
>> Indian and Global Environment

MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test. All India Management Association conducts this examination which is a National Level Entrance Test for those students who wants to pursue MBA and other post graduate degree in management. After CAT this is the second most popular entrance exam for MBA.

One of the benefit of this exam is that you can give this exam for four times a year: February, May, September and December. If you want to sit for the May exam then let me inform you that the date for sales of form is 16th April 2013 and 19th April is the last date of form submission.

To sit for the MAT exam you need to be a graduate first since MBA is a post-graduate degree. The percentage you secure is of little importance here as no specific percentage has not been mentioned. Therefore on getting the pass marks you will be considered eligible.

If you are a final year student about to sit for the final year exam or awaiting the result of the final year exam then also you can sit for this exam. At the time of admission you need to show all the documents.

Cost of the application form is Rs. 1200 and you can get the application kit from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi. By sending a demand draft of Rs. 1200 in favor of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any bank you can get form also.

The question paper will contain multiple-choice questions mainly and for every right answer you will get one mark. There is no provision for negative marking. A total of 200 questions needs to be answered by the candidate in 2.5 hours' time.
