My daughter studied from 8th standard to 12 th( ICSE) in Deharadun,Uttarakhand but we hail from Andhra Pradesh.Does she elligible to write AIPMT medical test.

You haven't mentioned your daughter passed out her 10+2 in which stream and with which subjects. From wherever you belong, you will be eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria.

Eligibility to appear for All India Pre-Medical Examination (AIPMT) Test 2012:
The Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the national Council of Education Research and recommended by the National Committee on Education.

Yes , Your daughter is not applicable for AIPMT exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AIPMT EXAM

Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIPMT exam but your 12th standard subject must be Physics , Chemistry , Bio logy and English.

Also you must score 50% in all above mention subjects.

For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

AGE CRITERIA

Your age should be in between 17 - 26 years.

The fee structure for the application form is as follows:

• For general candidates the fee is Rs. 700/-
• For Sc/St Candidates the fee is Rs. 350/-
• For OBC Candidates the fee is Rs. 700/-

AIPMT 2012 Important Dates/ Notification:-

Preliminary Examination:- 1st April, 2012 (Sunday)

Final AIPMT 2012 Exam Date: - 13th May, 2012 (Sunday)

Yes, your daughter is eligible for AIPMT as AIPMT is a national level entrance exam
The eligibility for the exam is
Candidate should be an indian citizen
Candidate should score at least 60% in 12 in physics, chemistry and biology
Candidate should be at least of 17 years at the time of admission
The medical seat will be allotted according to the merit in exam
