Sir i am Bsc 2nd year student with Botany chemistry and geography and I have passed 12 th with Biology chemistry and physics . I want to know that am I eligible for neet UG .

The candidates above 17 years can apply for the NEET 2023 exam and upper age limit has been removed by NEET . The candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board. NEET UG eligibility 2023.

1. You must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will attain the same by December 31, 2023. Accordingly, the minimum date of birth of candidates should be December 31, 2006.

2. Indian nationals/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) who wish to pursue MBBS/ BDS from a foreign university also have to qualify for NEET 2023.

The eligibility to apply for the NEET UG is that candidate must have passed 12th with PCB as main paper with minimum 50% aggregate.

There is no upper age limit to appear for the examination.

So, you can appear for the examination and after qualifying in the examination will become eligible for admission in medical courses.

To appear in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) UG 2023, the basic qualification required is a Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as main subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate in PCB group subjects from a recognized board of education. Marks relaxation of 5% is allowed in case of reserved category candidates.

So, if you hold the above mentioned qualification, then you are certainly eligible for appearing in NEET UG 2023 irrespective of your higher or additional qualification.

NEET UG Eligibility
