hi i have heard that niper is not approved by pci or aicte...is it true that we cannot get into teaching profession or any related government jobs if we perceive an Mpharm from niper??

some of the universities like NIPER, MIMA, NMIMS, are approved by PCI /AICTE.

Try to consult with Board of AICTE or Pharmacy Council near by you. So that, their help desk will provide you the full hand information.

Its false NIPER is an institute of national importance,founded by legislation.

From this year as there is no GATE for m.pharma courses,a new entrance naming- Graduate Pharmaceutical Aptitude Test (GPAT 2010) for scholarships/admission to MPharm programmers’ in Pharmaceutical Sciences will be conducted by National Monitoring Committee under the banner of AICTE. More details regarding this can be found at the websites of MS University Baroda and AICTE.

Then how can you say that.Dont belive in propaganda's just visit AICTE website and clear your doubt for ever.

so no matter whether it is approved by aicte or pci since it is formed under act of parliament and it is autonomous.

you must have heard wrong it's not true that Niper is not approved by pci or aicte.....if you want you have some talk with the aicte consultant

its a premier institute in asia for pharma-courses..its established by an act of parliament so any one refusing its veracity could be penalised by law.....not accepting its degree is akin to not accepting indian currency notes in india

Our degree is also VALID/recognized in Foreign Universities in USA , UK ..etc. NIPER is NATIONAL INSTITUTE for Excellence Study in India . NIPER is Equivalent to AIIMS and IIT. Our Syllabi for master are more/ larger than other M.Pharma. Institute.as you also know that all India pharmacy topper can have seat in NIPER like Institute.

NIPER was formed by the central govt under the NIPER ACT 1998.So it is the sole responsibility of the govt to solve the issue and save the future of the M.S doing students.There is no need of any interference by pci .PCI is under the the ministry of health and NIPER is under the ministry of chemical and fertilizers .Pharmacy Act should be updated in the highly growing pharmacy profession.Without research work pharmacy and medicine field will not survive.So they must be approve all niper courses and improve the standards.

no it is not true. NIPER is approved by AICTE. you should directly contact with the institution to know all other details.

after passing out from this institution getting job in government field is also possible. others jobs are also available. you may take admission in this institution.

Is valid GPAT score necessary for Phd in NIPER, or just GPAT qualified candidates are eligible?

what type of placements in government job is provided in niper.

NIPER is autonomous institute established under the aegis of Department of Chemical and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers by legislation. It does not require approval of other bodies.

Also note that PCI approval is only for BPharmacy colleges where as NIPER only runs PG courses. Students with MS degreee from NIPER can obtain equivalence certificate from NIPER to teach BPharm students. This was also clarified in parliament house.

no, what you have heard is wrong and NIPER is approved by AICTE and PCI. It is the prestigious institution in INDIA in pharmacy sector and you no need to worry about them.
