Re: Which one is better among B.Tech, BSc Engineering and BE?
B.E and B.Tech is similar course. few university provide engineering degree named as Bachelor of Engineering(B.E) whereas some university named as Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech). as the university is different so there may be difference in syllabus but both the degree is same. opportunity and scope is similar.
now there are lots of difference between B.E or B.Tech degree with B.Sc in engineering degree. first of all engineering degree B.E/B.Tech are for four years where as B.Sc degree is for three years. the scope and job opportunity after B.E/B.Tech is very high than the B.Sc in engineering. After B.E/B.Tech you will be eligible for M.Tech but after B.Sc in engineering you will not be eligible for M.Tech. you have to go for M.Sc after B.Sc. B.E/B.Tech is a professional course. industry recruit professional engineering in huge amount. B.Sc in engineering is not a professional course. it is a general course. In B.E/B.Tech beside the subject knowledge how to work in a industry, HR, Industrial Ethics these are also taught. but in B.Sc engineering only the subject is taught. so obviously B.Tech or B.E is better than B.Sc in engineering. the job opportunity and scope is very much high after B.E/B.Tech. but getting chance in engineering in a good college is little bit difficult. you should well prepared for engineering entrance examination to get chance in a good institution. best of luck. |

B.Tech and B.E are one and the same thing
The benefit with B.Tech is the scope widens in terms of employability A large number of companies which include both private as well as public sector companies ask for B.Tech students only and not the B.Sc Engineering B.Tech students are and will be in great demand Good Luck |

Hi dear.... according to me B.tech is better among all three courses as im enjoying fruit of it..... If you maintain 60% aggregate, you are eligible to go anywhere where graduate needs... and moreover Engineering degree B.E/B.Tech are for four years where as B.Sc degree is for three years. After B.E/B.Tech you will be eligible for M.Tech but after B.Sc in engineering you will not be eligible for M.Tech. you have to go for M.Sc after B.Sc.... Many MNCs come to recruit B.tech graduate but you should have 60% aggregate.... best of luck... |

Re: Which one is better among B.Tech, BSc Engineering and BE?
It is always difficult to compare between educational courses. There is no major difference between B.Tech and B.E courses. It is just the difference in names given out by universities. B.Tech/ B.E is a 4 year professional course where as B.Sc engineering is a 3 year course. You will be able to go for M.Tech after completing B.Tech/ B.E but this is not possible if you have done B.Sc Engineering. The number of job opportunities for a B.Tech/B.E candidate is more compared to those for a B.Sc Engineering student.

Re: Which one is better among B.Tech, BSc Engineering and BE?
The difference is the course material and its orientation. The B.E degree is said to be offered in course where the syllabus and the material deals with the theoretical knowledge. On the other hand the B.Tech Degree is offered in the courses where the material and the syllabus is more of a practical field. In B.E degree, one studies the material in more detail and depth, whereas in B.Tech degree one concentrates more on the skills and the practical application of the course.
