For admission to BE course in any NITs, you must have secured at least 75% marks in 12th (PCM stream).

Only if you have secured 75% marks, then only you will be eligible to apply for JEE Main Exam.

After appearing in JEE Main Exam, if you have secured good marks in JEE Main. Then, you can apply for counselling procedure to get admission into NIT.

A general competitor needs to score 75% stamps or be in top 20 percentile of a specific board. Top 20 percentile implies you need to score over 80% understudies of your board.

Be that as it may ,board exam results no more choose justify list for addmission to IITs and NITs. Above criteria should be fulfilled for affirmation however they won't influence anyones' rank. For OBC-NCL same criteria is there ,for SC/ST one needs to score 65% imprints for qualifying.

If you want to pursue BE from NIT college then it is compulsory to have more than 70% aggregate in 12th board.
If you want to get admission in a NIT College then you have to score at least 70% marks otherwise, you will face problem in admission.

In order to pursue Bachelor of Civil Engineering after passing your 12th standard, a candidate must have completed 12th standard with PCM from a recognised board and there is no specific percentage required but yes the candidate has to appear in JEE Mains exams and has to qualify with good marks in order to come into merit and secure seat in NIT.

Percentage required in 12th to secure BE civil engineering admission in NIT.

Educational qualification:-

The candidate should have passed 12th from a recognised board with physics, chemistry and mathematics .

The minimum percentage required to get admission in engineering is 45% from a recognised board. So if you have equal to or more than 45%, you are eligible for any stream of Engineering.

Joint entrance exam is conducted by IIT admission in Engineering College last like IIT, NIT and other Government Engineering Colleges. Percentage scored in 12th board is vital in admission, so you must have to score as high as possible in 12th board.

Percentage required in 12th standard to secure BE (Civil Engineering) admission in any NIT college is of minimum 75% aggregate or more than that. This value may differ from actual value just because the cut-off percentage of every year is different.

Also, to seek admission in any CFTIs including NITs, the minimum marks required in Class 12th with PCM group is 75% marks ( or 65% marks in case of SC/ST category candidate) from a recognized board.

For more details regarding JEE, you can refer to the link www.jeemain.nic.in.
