There is no percentage restriction to appear IES examination.
You are required to have a graduation degree in the relevant field from a government recognized university. For the examination, a candidate must have- - A degree in Engineering from a government recognized university. or - Passed Section A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) or - Obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognised by the Government for the purpose from time to time. or - Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) or - Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India. or - Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959 M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject. Boosting Yourself to work towards-Government of India !! There is nothing like Percentage requirement if you are a graduate then you are Eligible for IES exam. But for future Concern you must be having minimum criteria i.e 50% in graduation. For IES Exam Eligibility:

There is no any restriction regarding the marks in IES(indian engineering service).i am providing you the elligibility criteria for applying IES in short :
(1)MUST BE A CITIZEN OF INDIA (2)PHYSICALLY FIT ACCORDING TO THE CRITERIA OF UPSC (3)AGE BETWEEN 21-30 YEARS (4)MUST HAVE AN ENGINEERING DEGREE FROM ANY UNIVERSITY AUTHORIZED BY GOVERNMENT OF INDIA notification for IES are published in official website of upsc that is http://www.upsc.gov.in ,employment news and daily news papers also. so visit regularly the above website for latest information and notification. |

there is no percentage requirement to appear in IES(Indian Engineering Services) examination. only the four branch of engineering students are eligible for IES examination. those are

The minimum educational qualification required for appearing in IES exam is: The candidate must have obtained a degree in Engineering in any discipline from a recognised University. There is no percentage requirements for appearing in IES exam. You just need to pass in the bachelors course in engineering. UPSC is the concerning body which carries out the IES exam. This is one of the most prestigious post to which an engineering graduate can enter into. There are different departments to which a candidate can join as per their preference. You need to have a pass in B.Tech or its equivalent as to appear in the exam. if you need more information please visit the official website of UPSC.

As long as you have obtained a degree in Engineering in any discipline from a recognised University. you dont have to worry about anything else. there is no such criteria as percentage. Best of luck |

There is no percentage barrier to appear in the IES exam. Yeah you have to pass all the exams, of your graduation and no backlog should be there.
Also you should be between the age of 21 to 30 years , and holding a graduation degree, from a recognized university or college. All the best. |
