PhD is a great choice after M.tech for candidates who are good at academics and plan to sign up for a profession in same field.

PhD course can be done from India or Abroad depending on the funds and scholarship available.

GATE score is not mandatory for PhD programme in IITs.

The answer is Yes.

The candidate can do PhD course after Mtech without doing BSc or MSc. The duration of PhD in India is 4-5 years. Admission to the course is done on the basis of the admission test that is conducted by the University itself.

For PhD in Chemistry , candidates must have a post graduate degree from a recognized university.

The duration of this course is 3 to 6 years.

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam called UGC NET and GATE.

Ph.D. in Chemistry can be done after Mtech without doing BSc or MSc?

The minimum requirement for entry to an Indian Ph.D. is a Masters's degree in a relevant subject, usually with an overall grade of at least 55% (or the equivalent).

You will also be expected to have the necessary language skills for their course.

No. It is not possible to do a Ph.D. in Chemistry without doing BSc or MSc degree. Because there is no shortcut process of doing Ph.d. You have to do Graduation, then post-graduation. After that, you will be eligible to apply for Ph.D.

°°° No, you can not pursue PhD in chemistry without doing MSc in chemistry because the minimum educational qualification required to pursue PhD chemistry is graduation and post graduation in the same subject from a recognised university or Institute.
The subject in which you have completed your Mtech then you are eligible to pursue PhD only in that subject.
