Physically handicapped of 33 years age can become an IAS Officer?
Sir
I am 33 years old boy and i am also physically Handicapped. Sir i want to become a IAS officer. Sir is it possible for me. |

For becoming Indian Administrative Services officer, you need to crack various stages of Civil Services Examination conducted by Union Public Services Commission. The various stages of this exam is:
1. Preliminary exam. 2. Mains examination. 3. Interview. Minimum academic qualification required for this exam is bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year candidates of bachelor's degree can also apply for exam. The age limit for general candidate is 21-32 years. For Physically handicapped candidates, upper age relaxation of 10 years is given to candidates of general, OBC and SC/ST candidates. 1. General PH candidate: 21-42 years. 2. OBC PH candidate: 21-45 years. 3. SC/St PH candidate: 21-47 years. Hence, you can apply for Civil Services exam at age of 33 years. The notification for exam will be released on 23rd April, 2016. |

Yes,you are eligible for IAS Officer.
IAS stands for Indian administrative Services. This exam is conducted by UPSE. You are eligible only when you are graduate from a recognised University. New eligibility Age criteria: General 32 years (Max. age ) 6 attempts OBC. 35 years (Max. age ) 9 attempts SC/ST. 37 years (Max. age ) Unlimited attempts Physical Handicapped : General 42 years (Max. age ) 9 attempts OBC. 45 years (Max. age ) 9 attempts SC/ST. 47 years (Max. age ) Unlimited attempts |

Yes,you are eligible with an age of 33 years.
Age limitation are as follows:- Age not less than 21 years for all the candidates. Age not more than 30-32 years for general. Age not more than 35 years for OBC. Age not more than 40 years SC/ST Age not more than 47 years for Physically handicapped |

In order to become IAS officer, you need to apply for the Civil services examination conducted by UPSC. The age limit for the general category physical handicapped students is from 21 years to 42 Years. The age limit for the OBC category physical handicapped students is from 21 years to 45 Years. The age limit for the SC/ST category physical handicapped students is from 21 years to 48 Years. You need to provide the certificate of physical handicapped to avail this relaxations.
