Institute’s Profile: In November 1989, the National Institute of Open Schooling was established. Earlier it was known as National Open School. It is an autonomous body which was established following the National Policy of Education as prescribed by the Human Research Department of the Government of India. This institute is dedicated to serve the country by preparing people who have a thorough knowledge of the basic subjects.

No. of Vacancies: The total number of vacancies for the post of Academic Officer is 18, out of which four are reserved for OBC, 2 for SC and 1 for St. 1 seat is set aside for Physically Handicapped people.

Eligibility: The candidate must have good knowledge of Hindi and English and should be able to work in both the languages. He must also know the basic computer operations as well. The candidate should not be older than 45 years in age.

Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have a Master degree or its equivalent in a relevant subject. This degree must be of a recognized university. The candidate must have scored at least 55% marks in the exams. He should also possess fine academic records.
