Saptagiri Grameena Bank came into existence in the year 2006 on the 1st of July by the Indian Government by merging Kankadurga Grameena Bank and Sri Venkateswara Grameena Bank. The head office of the bank is located in the district of Chhitoor in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This bank is being sponsored by the Indian Bank with a view to benefit the people of rural areas.

The bank has 131 branches at different parts of the Krishna and Chittoor districts in the state of Andhra Pradesh. All the branches of the bank are computerized and the bank offers financial support to the people of the rural areas of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Number of Vacancies: 58 (SC- 12, ST-3, OBC-12, General – 31)

Pay Scale: Rs. 7200 – 400/3 – 8400 – 500/3 – 9900- 600/4 -12300 – 700/7 – 17200 – 1300/1 – 18500 – 800/1 – 19300. Selected candidates will be offered with other allowances as per the rules of the bank.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be degree holders from a recognized university in any discipline. Candidates should also be proficient in Telugu with desirable computer skills.

Age: Candidates must be between the age group of 18 and 28 years of age. Upper age limit is relaxed as 13 years for Physically challenged OBC candidates, 15 years for Physically handicapped SC/ST candidates, 10 years for physically handicapped general category candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. In addition, upper age limit relaxation of nine years is applicable to women candidates who are divorced/widows and not remarried.

Nationality/Citizenship: Candidates must be citizens of India and it is essential that candidates must be domiciled on the state of Andhra Pradesh

Mode of Selection:

Candidates will be selected for the post of Office Assistant based on their performance in the written test followed by interview. The written test is planned to be held on 31st of July 2011 and the duration of the test is 2 and ½ hours.
