i have got 86% marks in pcm in 12th board. i have got 112426 rank in aieee.i have not appeared in any other competitive exam.i am planning to take admission in vitam vishakhapatnam. its not too old college. only one batch of this college has passed out.the maximum salary was 3.2 lakhs per annum and average was 2.2 lakhs per annum.so i think that if such a college can provide this much better placement record in its very first batch, then it will definitely provide better placement after 4 years when i will pass out of this college. this is the basis of my selection of joining vitam. now plz tell whether i should join this engg. college and also plz tell me whether i am right in my decision or not. as i am having no other option other than dropping one year.plz tell me, i am confused.

In my opinion your decision is very good.
the package of 2-3 lakhs is pretty much ok for a fresher.
i think you should join this college instead of dropping.

VITAM (Vishwanadha Institute of Technology & Management) is a good institute. All the courses are AICTE approved, there is nothing to worry.


As compared to B.Tech its MBA & MCA has better pay package and good recruiters like- ICICI, Wipro etc.

Whereas for Engineering TOP recruiters are HAL, GAIL etc. yeah pay is slightly low, but its not a problem at all any new institute will take some time to settle with these problems.

hi faiyaz and lokesh thanks for ur advices and supprting my decision.

but i had been wrongly informed that this college is new. but the real fact is that the building of the college is new.the college is running since 1998. and this is for the first time they are taking admissions of the students of outside andhra pradesh, just because "they want to promote their college in bihar,jharkhand,chhattisgarh,orissa"(according to the words of admission incharge).

so they are not seriously considering the percentages of marks and aieee rank of the students of these states. just they are giving admission in 15 to 30% of their seats to the students of these states on the "first come first take" basis. so i will have to prepare myself in facing the full and the weak students of these states.

but since the college is good,as u all said, so i think i will not face any trouble there in education,placement etc. by the way, college is a part of jkc placement programme.

by seeing the above rplies every1 said dat dis colz is good but its not dat good...becoz in this colz the higher authroties wil not listen the student problems
n if we cum to education level its better ..but as the above ppl said wat dey said is wrong according to my opinion...if once u ppl join the colz den u wil cum to knw dat i hav said d correct thng

dear unregistered thanx for ur feedback.
i have taken admission in the college and also visited the college.i felt completely satisfied with the facilities present in this college.i saw that there are electronics lab,communication lab,language lab,oops lab,computer lab for 1st year student all these separately....i just want better education and placement with good package..nothing else i want.for dis,i can even lead a lyf like that in a convent.
i dont want any luxury in my college lyf.
by the way, have u been a part of this college?did u get placement?

In our col placement are available but lab sirs also good but try another many big colleges are available lets try

in visakhapatnam last nd least pass percentage college is vitam engg colz.......
no placements.......
but the management will collect every paisa from u..........
its true...........
no placements but they will take placements fee...........
library is there but u will not get ur wishing book...........
labs are there but the computers , electronics lab c.r.o will not work nd completely problem.......
coming to disciplane in college 3/4 th faculty will do smoking.......
nd they keeps stupid rules nd they dont allow to classes nd after semister ending their complete focus on condination regarding attendence........
people suffer to pay condination.........
u know one thing............
our vitam college building blocks are completely constructed from ours money..............
fines,condinations. e.t.c....
nd to that no faculty ...........
even one branch also dont have complete faculty........
coming to civil no faculty......
coming to IT no faculty nd they r mixing with CSE classes.......
coming to EEE not so bad but no complete faculty........
coming to ECE good after changing H O D ........
coming to MECH bad after changing H O D .......
coming to CSE old H O D is good nd now H O D is very bad madam.........
at last coming to principal waste of india he first smokes,fully corrupted mind.............
coming to schoolerships if the student applying for scholer then college management beggs like begge nd charges nearly 200 - 400 per semister, if not giving money the student wont get scooler..........
college will not support to students........
nd finally no placements at all..........
college management will keep one banner nd inviting the company for placements never ever seen nd hered companys............

vitam is also one of the best colleges in vsp.
but due to lack of standards, principles..it is lagging back than the newly arriving colleges
so if they maintain certain standrads they can certainlly hike up,,

i'v got 92.7% in inter,44545 rank in eamcet.is it agood option for me to opt vitam
