Possibility to apply for MBBS on the basis of B.Sc Zoology?

I have completed my B.Sc in Zoology and now I was thinking to study MBBS. However, I scored only 45% in my Intermediate Board exams. So, can I apply for MBBS on the basis of B.Sc in Zoology?

MBBS refers to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and the minimum education required to pursue the same degree course is a Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects with at least 50% marks in Science subjects taken together from a recognised board of education. For, candidates belonging to reserved category, the minimum marks required in qualifying examination is 40%.

So, having completed your intermediate with just 45% marks, you are eligible to pursue MBBS degree course only if you belong to reserved category as the highest qualification of a candidate does not have any impact on his/her eligibility to pursue MBBS degree course.

No, you are not eligible to get admission in the MBBS course on the basis of B.Sc in Zoology qualification.

To get admission in MBBS course the candidates have to appear and qualify in NEET examination. The required minimum eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed 12th with PCB and and scored minimum 50% aggregate.

So, you are not eligible to appear in the examination and for the admission in the MBBS course.

Let me tell you that there is no procedure through which you can apply for MBBS just on the basis of Bsc in Zoology hence, you can only apply on the basis of 12th.
There is no percentage criteria required to appear in NEET exam.
Therefore, you are eligible to appear in the NEET examination on the basis of their 12th.

There is no procedure to apply for MBBS on the basis of Bsc Zoology because as per the eligibility criteria the candidate must have minimum qualification of 10 + 2 with PCB subjects from a recognised board in order to appear in NEET.
It is mandatory that candidate must have passed 10 + 2 and there is no percentage criteria for NEET exam.

The acronym MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course.

Eligibility criteria for MBBS course:

Academic qualification: 12th passed from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject.

You must have minimum of 50% marks in 12th.

For admission in MBBS course, you need to qualify NEET exam with good rank.

To get admission in MBBS course it is necessary to appear and qualify in NEET, AIIMS MBBS or JIPMER.

The required eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have scored minimum 50% in 12TH with having PCB and English as main paper.

For AIIMS the required minimum aggregate is 60%.

So, you are not eligible to appear for these examination and so not eligible to get admission in MBBS course.

NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. It is conducted by NTA. It is conducted for admission in private and government medical colleges in MBBS and other medical course.

The required minimum eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed 12th with PCB as main paper and scored minimum 50% aggregate.

So, you are not eligible to appear for the examination to get admission in MBBS course.

Bsc marks have nothing to do with mbbs entrance .
But you have to have 50% marks aggregate in PCB (if belong to general category),or 40% marks aggregate in PCB ( if you belong to any reserve category) .
You must be of age minimum 17 to maximum age of 25.
