Hello Sir, I am planning to give the 12th Board exam from Bihar Board Open Schooling. But my aim is to secure BTech admission in IIT. So, after giving 12th Board exam from this Board, I can secure BTech admission in IIT?

Yes you can get admission in any of the IIT colleges after completing 12th from Open Schooling also. But it should be recognized.
But you have to score more than 70% aggregate if you want an IIT College.
You have to clear IIT JEE Mains and Advance entrance examination.
As because without clearing this entrance examination you are not allowed to get admission in any of the IIT’s.

To get admission in IIT one has to appear and qualify in JEE. It is conducted in two stages by CBSE and IIT. Now will be conducted by NTA.

The eligibility to appear in examination is that :-

Candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th board examination.

Candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main paper.

As Bihar Board Open Schooling is a recognised board you are eligible to appear and qualify in examination.

IIT is Indian Institute of Technology. It is a premier institute for technical course.

Candidates have to appear and qualify in JEE examination to get admission in B.Tech course.

Yes, you are eligible to appear in examination as candidates from a recognised board are eligible to appear in examination for admission.
