Is it possible to appear for 10th standard exam after 14 years of gap?


My aunt is 7th pass 14 years back and now she wants to give 10th exam as an external can she appear for it? Can someone please guide me with the procedure which we need to follow for this? It will be really helpful if you can answer me back soon. Thanks!

She can give 10th exam through NIOS board only after passing 8th standard. She can complete 8th standard through NIOS board and after that she will get admission in 10th standard. Thanks

Yes, it is possible to appear for 10th standard examination after 14 years of gap after completion of 10th standard. You need to apply for private examination through National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) to be eligible to appear in 10th standard board examinations.
