Is it possible to choose Chemistry along with Mathematics in B.Sc 3rd year?

Can I take Chemistry with Mathematics in B.Sc 3rd year? Is this combination good for future growth? How will it be beneficial for me? What is the scope and future prospects with this Chemistry and Mathematics subject?

There is a specialization available in B.Sc with Mathematics and Chemistry subjects which is B.Sc MPC. In addition to Mathematics and Chemistry, there will be Physics subject in this stream.

Yes. There are good job opportunities for the candidates after completion of this course and high salaries will not be paid.

Hence, people will go for Post Graduation courses like MBA, MCA and M.Sc.

If you are interested in Computers and want to get into software field, you can opt for MCA course. People who did M.Sc Computers will also have job opportunities in software companies.

The admission for this course will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam.

Each and every University will conduct its own Entrance Exam to give admission for this course.

If you are interested in Chemistry or life sciences, you can opt for M.Sc course with any of the below subjects
Chemistry
Biotechnology
Microbiology etc.

As per Job opportunities, there are more jobs for the candidates who did M.Sc with Organic Chemistry. If you are interested in same, you can opt for it.

M.Sc is also 2 year Post Graduation course and the admission would be given on the basis of Entrance Exam.

Join the course as per your interest and make most out of it.

Please note that whatever subjects/stream you have selected while joining 1st year of B.Sc course are final and no changes will be entertained on the same.

If there is no Chemistry in first 2 years of B.Sc course, you can opt for it in 3rd year.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
