i have exam ca cpt on june19 can i complete preparation in 1 week

Common Proficiency Test (CPT) contains multiple choice objective questions
from basically four topics.
1.Fundamentals of Accounting,
2.Mercantile Laws,
3.Economics and
4.Quantitative Aptitude.

If you have very good knowledge of these subjects then you can appear
for the exam without any preparation but if you are not a master of these
subjects then it won't be possible to qualify the exam at all.
If you haven't prepared for the exam till now you will not qualify for sure
(if miracles don't happen) but I would suggest you to start your preparation
right away so that the same problem doesn't arise next year when you
apply again for the same exam.

The common Proficiency test is conducted to test the individuals basic knowledge in accountancy, maths, economics and mercantile law.
Since there is not much time left and its just a week to go, its time for revision and not preparation. If, till now, you haven't been preparing for the test, its not worth taking this month. The CPT is not an easy one to crack and specially when there has been no preparation at all.
Its true that you must have studied fundamental of accountancy and economics after 10th but subjects like mercantile law might be a very new area of study for you. While talking about quantitative aptitude paper, the problems are based on all the segments of maths and topics like sampling theory and theoretical distribution might prove to be very difficult without much preparation.
So, if you attempt for the test, with the kind of preparation you have done, acing it won't be easy at all.

CPT exam is conducted several times a year

the syllabus for CPT comprises acounting, mercantile laws

economics and QA,

it is possible for commerce students with good previous knowledge to

clear it in even just a week,

however if you do not have proficiency in these subjects

you should try to attempt the NEXT CPT

which is probably in december.

Its depends on you how much you can complete. There are four categories in this subject,-

it is very tough compulsory u have to take coaching otherwise u can do of ur own in 2 months but it is not possible.........thej

Hello friend when i pass my 12 class exam i am very confidend know i will pass cpt and i joint coaching class at nagpur and i living at kamptee for that cause like updown i am not spend time for study but i know that what my sir,teach me but i am not doing study so i am not able to asked question and fear and i have one and half month to compelit my study my self because my date of exam 18 dec 2011 please tell me what i do to pass cpt in first attaim please sent message at ([email protected]) ok early i say it my comfidence/over

This is my 2nd attempt. In my last attempt n that is june i scored 95. I didnt study much for this attempt though. I am confident about my papers but a little scared. And the paper is just a week ahead. Please help.
