Yes you are eligible for the B.tech course after poly technique
the eligibility for b.tech course is pass the 12th or pass the diploma with first division for getting direct admission in the B.tech course.

no i do not think so that after doing the polytechnic you are eligible for the B.Tech courses ....
but then after doing the diploma of the 3 years after 10th exam you would be eligible for the b.tech exam as the lateral entry ......
so i would recommend you to do some other course other than the B.tech

Dear friend,

The polytechnic degree is meant equivalent to the +2 board

level examination. So, if you want to go for B.Tech. course you

can directly apply by the general process of application in colleges

offering the B.Tech. course.

Also some colleges offer direct entry (lateral entry) on the basis

of your polytechnic degree , in the 2nd year of the B.E./B.Tech.

course. So, you can also apply through the lateral entry test in the

colleges.

Best wishes..

Sure it is possible. There is a lateral entry scheme available for those who are from the diploma stream. On completion of the diploma course you will be eligible to join the second year of engineering directly. You will need to appear for an entrance exam for the same. Most of the colleges do have some seats reserved for candidates of this background.

Yes,of course its possible. You can go through polytechnic course which provides you the basic knowledge of the Engineering ECE course and later go through entrance exams such as IIT,AIEEE and even your State level Engineering entrance test.

You have taken a good decision by going through the diploma since it provides you a strong foundation and grip over your core subjects as you will cover all the subjects related to the electronics in the diploma course itself.

The only problem is that it will be somewhat tough for the candidates from diploma stream to go through exams such as IIT and AIEEE since they lack depth in Mathematics.Hence you need to go through coaching courses to do very well in IIT and AIEEE.

If qualified in the State level entrance test then you will be directly placed into the second year of the Engineering course if you have been selected in private colleges which are under the University(lateral entry scheme). But,if your selected in IIT,AIEEE and Universities under your State level exam then you need to go through the Engineering course right from the first year.

Yes offcourse you are eligible for B.TECH lateral entry and you will get admission into 2nd year of b.tech course..but if you apply for IIT and AIEEE colleges then you need to enter into 1st year b.tech course for IIT , it doesn't have any LATERAL entry facility ...

but for other all colleges you can enter directly to 2nd year of b.tech course...

and for Admission you need to write state level entrance exam to get into admission ....

Of course.you can do b.tech after doing your polytechnic course in electronics .
Electronics is in top now.You have a better future.

Many colleges are providing lateral entry facility.
Lateral entry means after doing your polytechnic course directly you can join in the second year of the engineering course.

If you do well in your diplamo , you can get seat in good college.

Collages offering lateral entry are.....

P S G College of Technology, Coimbatore.

Vellore Institute of Technology

Kumaraguru College of Engineering ,Coimbatore.

etc......

For further details you can go to their official websites..

All the best!!

Sure, you are eligible for the B.Tech course. The minimum education required to pursue a B.Tech course is either 12th standard or a Diploma holder.
Since you are a Diploma holder you have already have the basic knowledge in this field. So you are eligible to join the second year through the lateral entry scheme.

There are quite a few institute which allow Diploma holder to join in the second year. You will need to appear for an entrance exam. Also make sure you have a good score in the Diploma course. Since you are in the final year you must surely start preparing for the entrance exam. Going in for the B.Tech course is the best option available to you.

If you are not interested in the same then you can join for some short term certificate course but to have a degree will help you get a good position in your career.
