Ceramic in essential component of human life as it has intense application in electronic equipments, decorative equipment, utensil making, and various heat and electric resistive instrument. So candidates are trained in manufacturing ceramics of different grades, different qualities, and different uses which has specific practical applications. A diploma holder in ceramic engineering has very good demand.
Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility requirement for the diploma in chemical engineering is that the candidate must pass class 12 with physics, chemistry and Maths. A class 10 pass candidate is also eligible to appear for the course as the minimum age requirement is 15 years. An entrance exam is held for admission in the diploma course in chemical engineering.
Course outlook
A six semester diploma course on ceramic engineering trains the students with complete knowledge of ceramics, their composition, process of manufacture and proper utilization. After the 3 year course that evaluates the student on the basis of the practical and theoretical knowledge there is a training period of 6 months training in any related industry. There are future scopes on BTech and higher studies in this course.
Job Prospect
There are job opportunities for a diploma holder in places like electrical and electronic industries that manufactures resistors, capacitors, circuit frames and various similar industries. They are also employed in companies producing decorating items and the ones producing cookeries and utensils. They are also employed in may other places. Pay is accordance to skill and experience.
