B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education. It is a teacher training course which is necessary for every candidate nowadays who want to become teacher in government schools.

Eligibility Criteria:

~~Any candidate who has done bachelor's degree from a recognized university in any stream is eligible for this course.

~~You must have scored at least 50% marks in bachelor's degree to get admission in this degree course.

So, yes its possible for you to do B.Ed if you satisfy the eligibility criteria.

There is no upper age limit for candidates of any category.

Yes of course, all categories are eligible to do B.Ed course from any university they wish to. But, yes there are criteria set by institution which one has to satisfy to be eligible for admission in this course.

** Graduation from recognized university with atleast 50% in aggregate for general category where as for SC/ST 45% aggregate in graduation is needed.

** Age must be 21+ but not more than 40 years

Procedure of admission into B.Ed course:

** Final list are being prepared according to B.Ed entrance examination followed by personal interview round. So candidates has to pass both the rounds for being selected to this course. Seats are very limited in every colleges of India.
