I have completed my Diploma 3rd year, but I had 5 backlogs. If I clear 3 subjects then is there any chance to write the exam or go to study B.Tech directly without wasting a year?

To get admission for pursuing B.Tech course, you should have qualified all subjects of your Diploma course. Being a Diploma holder, you are eligible to get direct admission in second year of B.Tech course through lateral entry admission process. You have to appear in lateral entry examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET, etc., to get admission in second year of B.Tech course.

You are not eligible for lateral entry with backlogs.

So, you are not eligible to get admission in B.Tech course with backlogs in diploma course.

You first need to clear the backlog to get admission in B.Tech course.
