Hello, I have already obc certificates and I wants to apply my children obc certificate. But issue is that in my obc certificate my surname is mentioned and in my all documents my surname is not mentioned. And same thing is that my children proof my surname is not mentioned.


So please confirm me that how can I apply for my children obc certificate.

Yes one can do so , if your family surname is written , then firstly you have to make an affidavit and publish it in local newspaper.

Don't produce your caste certificate anywhere and where ever category is asked in any form opt for general.and not OBC , sc or st.

Or
You must visit your local Government press or department that mobilises Gazette notification .
Get two copies of " Deed changing surname form".
