Postal assistant exam details:-

The applicant must be complete 12th standard with 60% of marks from a recognised board.

The age limits are 18years to 27 years.

Upper age relaxation is provided as per the government rules.

You should be a citizen.

Postal Assistant Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

1. You need to be higher secondary passed out or its equivalent from a recognized school or institution.
   
2. You need to secure minimum 60% of marks in aggregate at 10+2 level.
   
3. When applying for this exam your age should not be less than 18 years. For general category candidates the upper age limit for giving this exam is 27 years. For reserved category candidates there is age relaxation.
   
4. You need to know the local language of the State of the postal circle in question. This will help to overcome any communication problem.
   
5. If you have studied hindi at matriculation level or above and you are quite well versed in this language then that would do as well.
   
6. Cost of the application form is Rs. 50. Examination fee is Rs. 200 and it need not be paid by the SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates.

The total time limit for the exam is 120 minutes and within this short span of time you will have to answer 100 objective questions of 100 marks each. Questions will be mainly objective and therefore conceptual type.
