postal assistant last 5 year Question?...pleases end to me the papes

Indian Postal wing of the Government of India conducts entrance test based on written format for recruiting individuals in Postal Assistants. The exam pattern of the following exam is quite unusual. The overall marks are divided into three different weightage systems which are basically mentioned as:

• 40% weightage for Class-12th %age

• 50% weightage for Aptitude Test

• 10% weightage for Computer Typing test

The total marks for the following exam paper is 100.

Pattern of Aptitude Test:

The aptitude test paper will comprise of 50 Objective Types Questions. Each of the questions will be of two marks each. Therefore, by simple mathematics, the total mark of the aptitude test is 100. The paper will consists of Mathematics, English, and Reasoning as well as Analytical ability along with a segment for General Knowledge. The total duration of the test will be two hours.

Pattern of Computer Typing Test:

The test is divided into two parts with each part consisting of five marks each. Paper I will be held for Computer Typing type, which would be held in an overall period of fifteen minutes. The test will comprise of typing 450 English words and 350 Hindi words. Paper II will be Data Entry type also having duration of fifteen minutes.

Postal Assistant Exam Details:-

## If you wish to give this exam then you need to pass in the higher secondary examination or its equivalent first with not less than 60 percent of marks in aggregate.

## There is percentage relaxation for the reserved category candidates. It is 55% in case of OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST candidates.

## English should be one of your compulsory subject at 10+2 level. While calculating the total marks marks of vocational courses should be excluded.

## While applying for this exam your age should not be below 18 years. This is the lower age limit for giving this exam. For general category candidates the upper age limit is 27 years.

## You need to know the local language well of the State of the postal circle concerned. This will help you to communicate freely with the residents of that circle fluently.

## Since Hindi is the official language of our country so it will help if you know Hindi at matriculation level or above.

## For the exam you can expect questions from the following sections: General Knowledge, Mathematics, English and Reasoning & Analytical Ability. Mostly objective questions will come where there will be four options for each question.

## You will get only two hours to complete the whole paper and in this limited time available you have to answer 100 questions altogether. For each right answer you will get one mark each.

## Application forms will be available from the head post offices and other post offices in the circle. The cost of the application form for the general category candidates is Rs. 200.
