T eligible for CLAT, you have to pass 12th standard or Equivalent examination from recognized central/state board.

You must have secured minimum of 50% marks(45% for ST/SC candidates).

Your Age should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability)

CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. This exam is conducted by the fourteen national law universities which takes part in this exam. By giving this exam one can study both LLB and LLM. Generally the exam is conducted in May every year.

UG Course Eligibility:-

1. You need an HS certificate of a recognized board for this exam.

2. At HS level general and OBC category needs 45% of marks.

3. SC/ST candidates and PWD candidates needs to get 40% of marks.

4. The minimum age limit for General and OBC candidates is 20 years.

5. For SC and ST candidates and PWD candidates the upper age limit is 22 years old.

6. Final year students can also apply for this examination.

PG Course Eligibility:-

1. You need to have obtained a LL.B/B.L. degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.

2. At graduation level 55% of marks is required in aggregate.

3. SC/ST students needs at least 50% of marks in aggregate.

4. Final year students can also give this exam.
