The past four years CLAT question papers will be available at all the 14 National Law Universities on payment of Rs. 100/- (Rs. One Hundred Only). The question papers can also be obtained by post from National Law University, Jodhpur.
Candidates must enclose a demand draft of Rs. 150/- (Rs. One Hundred Fifty Only) in favour of “National Law University, Jodhpur CLAT A/C” payable at Jodhpur (Rajasthan). Application requesting the question paper should be addressed to
The Convenor,
Common Law Admission Test,
CLAT 2012,
National Law University,
Jodhpur, NH-65,
Nagour Road,
Mandore,
Jodhpur - 342304 (Rajasthan).
The application can be made on a plain piece of paper and should contain the following information - a) Name, b) Complete Postal Address including pincode, c) Contact Number(Landline and Mobile), and d) Email id.

I'll b appearing for clat exam on 14th april and only few days r left. Can any one give me some tips to clear the exam?I'm ready to put in my 100% for it. I feel have been able to be in touch with the current affairs.. By getting how much marks will I be able to clear the exam and get an admission to one of those institutes?

CLAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

Educational Qualification:-
  • You need to complete higher secondary exam or its equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
  • At 10+2 level you need to secure not less than 50% of marks in aggregate.
  • SC/ST/OBC Candidates and persons with disability at 10+2 level needs to secure 45% of marks in aggregate.
  • Final year students about to sit for the final year exam or awaiting the result of the final exam can also apply.

Upper Age Limit:-
  • General and OBC candidates:- 20 years.
  • SC/ST Candidates and Persons with Disability :- 22 years

Exam Pattern:-

Total marks allotted for the exam is 200 marks. There will be five sections in total and mainly objective questions will be asked. Now negative marking system has been introduced so for every wrong answer now 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Give stress on the following section for CLAT LLB:-
  • English including Comprehension: 40 marks
  • General Knowledge/ Current Affairs: 50 marks
  • Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability): 20 marks
  • Legal Aptitude: 50 marks
  • Logical Reasoning: 40 marks
