Hai,

POSTAL Assistant exam details are given below.

Eligibility details:-

The applicant should have to complete 12th or any equivalent with 60% marks from any recognised university or board.

You must be an Indian origin.

The age limits are 18years to 27 years, relaxation is provided as per the govt rules.

Previous year question papers of POSTAL Assistant has been attached below.

The Department of the Postal Government of India conducts the Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant Exam. The notifications for this exam is usually published in all the leading newspapers. So keep yourself abreast of all the latest information related to this exam.

Postal Assistant Exam Eligibility Criteria:-
  • The main criteria to sit for this exam is that you need to pass higher secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  • At 10+2 level you have to secure minimum 60% of marks in aggregate.
  • There is relaxation for the reserved category candidates. SC/ST candidates needs to get 45% in aggregate and OBC candidates needs to get 50% in aggregate.
  • The lower age limit for giving this exam is 18 years and for general category candidates the upper age limit is 27 years. For reserved category candidates there is age relaxation.
  • You need to be well versed in the local language of that State. This will help you to carry out out the job smoothly.
  • It helps even if you have studied hindi at matriculation level or above.

Exam Pattern:-

Mainly objective questions will be asked in the exam and a total of 200 questions needs be answered in a time limit of 2.5 hours. Give stress on the following areas: General Knowlege, Mathematics, English and Reasoning. For each section 25 marks have been allotted. In addition to this exam you will have to sit for a computer test as well. It is going to be a 30 minute test.

Application form for the exam will be available from the Head Post Offices and other post offices in the circle. The cost of the application form is Rs.50 and the examination fee is Rs. 200.
