Hello,
I need previous year question paper of IB-ACIO GRADE - II.
Please help.

The full form of IB-ACIO is Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer. In order to work for Intelligence Bureau as the ACIO, you are required to appear in entrance exam called ACIO Grade II examination.

Intelligence Bureau is often compared to FBI. It is India's internal security agency that tracks the movement of naxals and other terrorist groups. The job of Intelligence Bureau is to provide intel related to possible terror attack on Indian soil in advance. Other responsibilities include finding Pakistani and Chinese spies in the country and to help NIA and other agencies with investigation of terror attacks.

Things begun very differently for the Intelligence Bureau when it was created during British Raj. At that time the sole purpose of the agency was to monitor Russian troops movement in Afghanistan. But after India's independence, the role of Intelligence Bureau was to collect both internal and external intelliegence.

However it turned out to be too much of the affair for the agency as it failed on couple of occassions in 60s leading to the demand of separate agencies for internal and external affairs. This was the time R &AW was created which is India's answer to ISI and CIA.


ACIO Eligibility

1. You must be Indian Citizen.

2. You age should be maximum of 27 years.

3. Educational requirement is graduation course in any stream from a recognised university.

4. SC/ST candidates are eligible for age limit relaxation as per government rules.
