what is the procedure for degree in master of computer application (MCA) which are the enteance exam to do it .i want to do it in mumbai or goa.

MCA stands for Master of Computer Application it is two year master degree vocational course.

The eligibility to get admission in course is that the candidate must have passed bachelor degree in Science with mathematics as main paper or have BCA degree.

So, if you have above qualification you can appear for entrance examination conducted by various institutes or university. You can also appear for NIMCET examination to get admission in NIT's.

MCA stands for Master in Computer Application. It is a post graduate degree for a duration of 2 years.

There are several institutions and universities where you can apply for the MCA degree. Most of the universities held entrance examination as the selection procedure for the admission of the candidates in MCA course.

The eligibility criteria are-

The candidates should have a graduation degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50%.
The candidates need to have studied Mathematics as one of the major subjects in 10+2 level.
The candidates should have passed 10+2 with minimum 60% marks.
There is no age limitation.

For NIT the entrance examination is called NIMCET and the candidates need to score a minimum of 60% in graduation and 10+2. The candidates should have Mathematics as a major subject.
