Exam form filling dates :

application submitted during the period mentioned here under shall only be considered for winter 2011 examinations
candidates not appeared at winter 2011 examinations
Feb 20 to Mar 19 , 2012
candidates appeared at winter 2011 examinations
Mar 19 to Apr 20 , 2012

Exam Fee:

Exam fee is Rs.2000/- DD should be in favour of the institution of engineering payable at kolkata

AMIE Stands for Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers

And AMIE is held twice in a year.
-May
-December

Exam Pattern::


AMIE consists of 2sections:

Section-A:

The examinations are held twice every year normally in May / June and November / December respectively.
Section A examination is common for all.
It includes;
Basic Sciences, Engineering Sciences and Communication ...

Section B:

After Section A, you will be admitted to appear for the Section B examination.

To get into AMIE, There are two ways:
- Technician Memeber(Non-Diploma)
- Senior Technician Member (Diploma).



Eligibility for AMIE::

# Minimum 18 years of age on the date of application for selection.

# You must be 12th pass with min. 45% including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics(PCM) background.

# You must be complete your B.sc degree with 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths(PCM)

# You must have passed 1st year examination of 5 years Integrated B.Tech/B.E.

For getting into Senior Technician Memebership, You should have the following:

# You must be working as an engineer under corporate Member.

# You must be a Diploma Engineering Holder.

are two processes, namely:-

Basic eligibility criteria:

The candidate should be complete graduation from any recognised university with atleast 45% marks including physics, maths or chemistry subjects.
Or

The candidate should be complete 12th with atleast 45%marks including physics, maths, chemistry, english subjects.
