sir am completed my diploma in e&tc branch & i get addmission for b tech for direct admission to 2nd year.. then what is process of his n wht is cut off list for pune university of best colleges..?

After completing diploma course in Engineering you can directly enter into the second year of private colleges which are under the University.You can go through various exams like IIT JEE, AIEEE and State level Engineering entrance exam which will be conducted separately for the diploma students.In the above mentioned exams only few colleges which are under your State will allow you to enter into second year as lateral entry.

Colleges which are under Universities allow you to join directly in the second year but in Universities you have to join directly in the first year of the Engineering course.If you get a very good score in the entrance test then it's better that you join in a University and take up the course from 1st year rather than choosing a good college which is under the University and taking up the course from 2nd year.

Based on your performance you will be allotted a specific list of colleges in your counselling.Most probably you will be given details regarding the last counselling i.e the last rank admitted in a particular college.

Some of the good colleges in Maharastra which you can apply for counselling are:-
Sardar Patel College of Engineering
Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI)
Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College

sir i had completed my 12th in 2009 after that due to some reasons i cant continue my studies nw i want to take admission in B.Tec..then wht is the procedure to do it.......

i completed my diploma i got 69% I didnot get rank in entrence exam i want to do btec .how can i get admission in btec colleges.

sir,i hv completed diploma in automobile engg. i got 85 percentage tell me procedure to get admission in pune university for B.tec.

LEET stand for Lateral Entry Entrance Test

- LEET exam is for the diploma students who want to join in engineering

Eligibility :

- You should have at least a 60% in Diploma.

- Maximum age limit is of 28 years.

- You must not have any backlogs left in Diploma.

If you get qualified in the LEET exam you will directly get admission to second year of engineering.
