i'm currently doing b-tech in electronics and communication from jis college of engineering,west bengal.i want to change my college in 2nd year .i want to know the colleges in india offering this provision and required criteria for it.i dont have problem in changing my stream.

dear friend,
for changing your college in the 2nd year, you have many options as ther are many colleges which do take students from other colleges in the second year. and such students are called as transfer students.
but as per my awareness, this transfer is mostly done and is also quite simpler when it is between the colleges coming under the same university; transfer between colleges affiliated to same university would be quite beneficial too.
for this you got to submit your school mark sheets and your 1st year mark sheet to the college you require transfer. there might be some other documents too that has to be submitted. check them out.
well i will be able to tell you regarding Tamil Nadu. here you would get transfered to any of the colleges, especially the Government colleges, affiliated to Anna university, without any problem. similarly, choose which college you want to join and select your stream and then accordingly find out the necessary criteria asked by them for the same.

one you have to top your college and pay all the semester fees in the old college and get admission into new college with recomendation

its not an easy task academically and personally

and some colleges will give chance for the student to appear for the common entrance exams

and after getting the result you have to show the cause for your dislike for the college and you have to pay all the fees of all semesters then only they will give your all certificates

I am currently doing my B.tech from a deemed university and i want to change my college. I want to know that which colleges offer this kind of system. And also i'm having a back in 1st semister in LAB. It'll be most probably cleared in the end of july. Will i be able to change my college? And not under the same university. Are there any such college in Bangalore? And what about Ramaiya Colg in Bangalore>? And sir i also doesn't have 50% aggr. In PCM. I'm lacking behind from .7% But secured 60% overall. What should i do? I'm not at all happy in My present college. Please help me sir. I secured 6.55 CGPA in my first sem. Please help sir. Please. Changing a branch is a easy thing but changing a college is not allowed in some universities. So think twice before you take any decision and take the advice of experts.

there are almost all engineering colleges in orissa which take direct admission in 2nd year.

Dear friend, you did not mentioned what you are doing right now.It will be very tough to get direct entry to the 2nd year.But I personally know many of my friends where they were entered 2 nd year by lateral entry.You can change to one college to another college in 2nd year.

You have to talk about this with the college representative.This will help you.

My daughter in Ist year in ICAS (international study programme) Aero space and secure 77% in exam. but ICAS is also required 70% in each subject. Out of 16 subject she has score 67% and 63% in two subject. Amreriddle univercity has also raised their CGPA as 3 instead of 2.5. Hence may daughter is enable to go abroad and Icas is also not having 2nd. Year in Aero space, Can my daughter get the admisssion in any other reputed college with marks 77% in Ist Year.

Sir, I am doing b.tech cse from Amity Noida University. I have back in math in 5th semester and i have not given about 5 papers of 6th semester as i have no interest in b.tech cse.I am passing through very acute situation of depression. I had bio also in 12th.i have interest in biology. Can i change to b.tech in biotechnology or any other course in Amity or any other college of some other university. If not,what should i do now?
