  • One Entry is National Defense Academy Exam:
    
    NDA is conducted by upsc Government and it Held twice in a year as NDA I and NDA II.
    
    Its Pattern Consists Of General Ability and Mathematics.
    
    General Ability Consists Of few History, Geography, G.K , Current affairs etc. Mathematics Consists of 11 and 12 Mathematics, Trigonometry.

• After your Graduation You have Four Options

The best way to join Indian Army is either through NDA or CDS exam, conducted by UPSC every year.
For NDA, you must have completed +2 from a recognized board and must be within the age limit of 16 1/2 years - 19 years.
For CDS, you must be a graduate between 19-24 years of age.
To get into the technical branches, you may join Indian Army through University Direct Entry Scheme. Eligible candidate within 19 years-25 years gets the opportunity to face the interview without appearing for any written test.
Candidates holding NCC "C" certificate along with a graduate degree with a minimum of 50% may apply for Short Service Commission. Such candidates do not require to appear for written test.
As an engineer, you may join the technical department of Indian Army as commissioned officer.The age limit for the same is 20 years-27 years.

There are many ways to join Indian Army and it will totally depends upon your educational qualification and age but for all the ways you have to appear the Entrance exam like CDS and SSB interview.

if you want to indian army then u have to give the following exams
1-after 12th
a-NDA1(PAPER IS OBJECTIVE TYPE AND THEN SOME PHYSICAL REQUIRMENT)HELD IN APRIL.
B-NDA2(PAPER IS OBJECTIVE TYPE AND THEN SOME PHYSICAL REQUIRMENT)HELD IN OCTOBER. THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR TEHSE EXAM ARE 60% IN 12TH AND AGE SHOULD BE LESS THAN 17 YEARS.
ANOTHER IS AFTER GRADUATIONS
A-CDSE
B-UES
3-DIRECT ENTRY IN SSB THROUGH YOUR COLLEGE.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION ARE 60%IN GRADUATION ANDMINIMUM AGE IS 21 YEARS

the very first exam which a student can give is at the age of 16 1/2 and the exam is NDA and ,TES and after that all exam takes graduate students .

IMA::Graduation from recognised university

SSC NON TECHNICAL AND TECHNICAL :::
graduate and engineering degree respectively .

NCC::

Graduate 50% aggregate marks, 2 yrs service in NCC Sr Div Army with minimum 'B' Grade
in C Certificate Exam

UES::Final and Pre Final Year Students of Engg Degree Course

TGC(engineers)::

BE / B Tech in notified streams of Engineering

TGC (EDN )AEC ::M.A./M. Sc. in 1st or 2nd Div in notified subjects from recognised university

JAG::
Graduate with LLB/ LLM with 55% marks. Registered with Bar Council of India/State

As an Indian Army Engineer, you could be a part of any of the three elite corps of Engineers,

• Bombay Spares
• Madras Engineers
• Bengal Engineers.

Two Options available

a) Permanent Commission
b) Short Service Commission

In short service Commission you can serve for 5 years and have an option to quit the army.
you can apply following ways
1.)Technical Entry Graduates IMA exam mostly held in January and July and age should be 20 to 27 Years and mode of selection is Direct SSB..
2.)SS Commission not fixed and after completion of b.tech chech with related dates in employement news.
3.)OTA –Technical Entry held in May and Oct/ Nov and age should be between 19 to 25 and mode is Direct SSB

there are several methods to join the indian army...you can write several exams like cds,ues,nda and also you can try for entry through the technical entry and also through the ncc c certificate holder.

You have not mentioned your educational qualification. So, it is bit difficult for me to tell you the exact procedure for joining the Indian army. Well, the minimum educational Qualification required for joining Indian army is 10+2.

If you are 10+2 /Intermediate passed or graduate or engineering graduate then you can join army as officers. You need to appear in Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) or NDA exam depending up on your qualification.

For Technical Branches, Women special entry scheme and NCC special entry scheme and service, recruitment is made directly through the respective Recruiting Directorates for the Army under Short Service Commission.
