First of all you must clear your degree with good percentage so that you are eligible. After that you will have to prepare and apply for CDSE exam

The forms notification is usually out in August and MArch

The age limit is 19 to 25 years.

Once you have cleared your exam you will have to appear for SSb interview along with a physical fitness test.

To attend Indian Army exams after graduate.
candidate should have minimum 60% in graduate for caste OBC,whereas for SC/ST only 55% is required.the above mentioned basic required to attend Army Exams.
but Army notification will be mainly concentrate on age limit.like they will give some date and year,the candidate should be with the date and year.
for example;
age 12-1-1986 to 4-7-1990
the candidate who is in between this age can apply.this is the second requirement.
if you over all the above mentioned.then your are eligible to apply for the Indian Army.as you apply,you may get hall ticket,one week before.if you qualify in that exam you will called for attended the SSB interview.the expenditure you spend for SSB interview will be paid by Indian Army.this will difficult to clear.until you work hard .the SSB interview will be for 5days.if you are not able to clear first days,you will sending to your home on the same day,if you clear first day,you can attended second days ,in the same manner it continues for 5days.if you are able to clear 5days interview.then you are selected for Indian Army.if you are interest in continuing your studies you can do your post graduation while you work in Indain Army.

Procedure to join Indian Army after Graduation?

There are two ways to enter in to the Army after Graduation.
1) direct Entry scheme
2)University Entry Scheme.
For both you have to appear the Combined Defense exam conducted by UPSC and SSB interview.

CDS (Combined Defense Services)

If you choose permanent commission (in this, retirement is done in the age of 60) after CDS, then you have to three examination viz. GS, Maths and English. On choosing Short Service Commission, you have to give two examination viz. General Studies and English. The examination in this year will be on 13 February, 2011.

Age Limit:
IMA: 19-24
NDA: 19-22
AFA: 19-23
OTA: 19-25

Eligibility:Candidate must be graduate for IMA (Indian Military Academy) and OTA (Officers Training Academy). Candidate must be B.Sc. or B.E. for Navel Academy. For air force academy, he have done B.E. or graduation (with compulsory physics and Maths in 10+2).

Notification:Twice in a year (April and September).

Month of test:February/ September.

Examination subjects:Maths, General Studies, English.

Examination Format:Three objective papers of two hours each. Each paper will be of 100 marks. First paper will be of English, second of general studies and third of Maths.

How to prepare for CDS?
Examinations are of English, General Studies and Maths.

English:Its syllabus is similar to NDA.

General Studies:Questions from Indian history, Indian politics, geography and economics are asked.

Maths:Questions from arithmetic, mensuration, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and probability etc. are asked.

To join Indian Army there are mainly four ways ; these are:-

Qualification required- Any graduate degree/BE/B Tech degree and having
passed Physics and maths in class 12th.

Age limit- 19-23 years

Month of exam:- It is conducted twice a year. In the month of April and
September.
1.Through CDSE(Combined Defense Services examination)-

Being a graduate, you may appear for Combined Defense Service Exam conducted by UPSC. The eligible age for the exam is between 19-24 years.
If you are an engineering graduate between 20 - 27 years of age, you may join the technical department of Indian Army as an commissioned officer.
Apart from this, candidates are also recruited through University Entry Scheme, in which candidates within the age limit of 19-25 years gets the opportunity to face the interview/SSB.

IMA: Graduation from recognised university

NCC: Graduate 50% aggregate marks, 2 yrs service in NCC Sr Div Army with minimum 'B' Grade in C Certificate Exam.

UES: Final and Pre Final Year Students of Engg Degree Course

SSC: Engineering Degree in notified Discipline.

As an Indian Army Engineer, you could be a part of any of the three elite corps of Engineers,

• Bombay Spares
• Madras Engineers
• Bengal Engineers.

Two Options available

a) Permanent Commission
b) Short Service Commission

In short service Commission you can serve for 5 years and have an option to quit the army.
you can apply following ways
1.)Technical Entry Graduates IMA exam mostly held in January and July and age should be 20 to 27 Years and mode of selection is Direct SSB..
2.)SS Commission not fixed and after completion of b.tech chech with related dates in employement news.
3.)OTA –Technical Entry held in May and Oct/ Nov and age should be between 19 to 25 and mode is Direct SSB

after completing your graduation you can join indian army, navy or air forces by writting CDSE exam.after clearing the exam you should have to go for SSB interview.
you should have 60% in your graduation,depending upon your marks scored in cdse exam you will be given army,navy or air force.

To join Indian Army, you have to fight Civil Defence Services exams i.e. CDS & NDA.

Both CDS and NDA exams are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

Following is the procedure to join the Indian Army after graduation.

Eligibility criteria:

1. Educational qualification- Graduation from a recognised university.

2. Age- 19 to 25 years

3. Likely SSB Date- Oct / Nov and July / Aug

4. A candidate should have robust physique and good mental health.

5. Chest should be well developed having minimum 5 Cms expension.

6. Should have normal hearing with each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes. He should be able to read 6/6 in distance vision chart with each eye.

7. Should recognize red and green colours.

To join Indian army you must write one of the two exams namely NDA and CDS

The Indian Army is the secondlargest army in the world in terms of personnel, and it is the largest component of the Indian Armed Forces. Cadets selected to serve the Indian Army are trained at the National Defence Academy, Indian Military Academy or the Officers' Training Academy. The latter trains cadets on a Short Service Commission. Cadets can join the Indian Army either after high school or after getting an undergraduate degree. Graduate Entry

Prepare for the Combined Defense Services Exam. This exam tests your knowledge of English, math and generalknowledge. It is a multiple-choice exam.

Apply for the Combined Defense Services Exam (CDSE). The notification for the exams appear in August and March and the exam is conducted in February and March in all national newspapers. In order to join the Indian Army after completing our graduation you can appear for the CDS(Combined Defense Services) exam..

Eligibility Criteria :-

2) You should be within the age limit of 19-23 years..

Apart from these..you should have a perfect eyesight and should have a good physical health..

The paper is a 300 marks objective paper which contains 3 sections of 100 marks each

Yes. You are eligible to join Indian Army after completion of your Graduation. Here is the route map for you.

You have to crack CDS (combined defence services exam) being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.

Through this exam, the candidates can join
-Indian Military Academy
