Is PUC from another state Noida "NIOS" valid for state government job and central government job exams?
Sir, my self Santhosh. I am studying PUC Science correspondence in university of (NIOS-Noida, Karnataka) but I am basically from Karnataka. Am I eligible for all kind of state and central govt jobs? People are saying that I am not eligible for state govt jobs because I did my PUC in other state university. Is that true? My dream is to become a police officer. Am I eligible for any state level exams and state police exams?

NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) is established by human resource department of government of India. NIOS is national level board similar as like CBSE board. So, After passing from NIOS board, you are eligible to apply for higher studies as well as jobs based on your qualifying examination.

1. There is no such issue. National Institute of Open Schooling is a recognized board for secondary and senior secondary exams.
2. Students who pursue 10th and 12th form NIOS are eligible for all types of competitive exams either under central government or state government. NIOS is fully recognized by Central government and MHRD for conducting exams at 10th and 12th level. |
