Re: Qualification required to attend governemnt bank exam? Requirements and procedure?
Yes having completed your graduation degree course in mechanical engineering you are eligible for appearing in the bank entrance examinations held for recruitment of bank clerks and bank probationary officers for different nationalized banks of India such as IBPS bank examinations or SBI bank examinations on the basis of you educational qualification.
--> But apart from the educational qualification you need to have the qualifications mentioned here under :- * You must be an Indian resident. * Your age must be within 20 years to 28 years for the post of bank clerk where as for bank probationary officer it must be within 21 years to 30 years. Further age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government rules. * You must have good communication skills along with knowledge to work on computers as the banking works are computer based. For further details about the same examination you can log on to the respective official links of given examinations which are www.ibps.in and www.sbiexam.in. |

Re: Qualification required to attend governemnt bank exam? Requirements and procedure?
Sorry to say that you are not eligible for Bank Exams since your qualification is just Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
The students should complete any Graduation to be eligible to sit for Bank Exams. As Diploma will not be considered under Graduation, you are not eligible. So, please join Mechanical Engineering through Lateral Entry procedure and complete your Engineering course. After which you can apply for Clerk and PO Jobs in Government Banks. While pursuing Mechanical Engineering itself, start preparation for Government Bank Exams. |
